Discover hawks, eagles and owls during this special weekend featuring computer demonstrations, exhibits, crafts, a book display, photography show, live animal presentations, hikes, videos and more.

Friday, February 6   (7 - 8 p.m. and 9 - 10 p.m.)
Friday Nights with Nature: “Romancing the Eagle – The Incredible Story of the Return of the Bald Eagle” with Harvey Webster, Director of Wildlife Resources at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History

Saturday, February 7  (12:30-5 p.m. and 7-8:30 p.m.)
1-1:30 p.m. - Birds of Prey Bingo
1:30-2 p.m. - Puppet Show
2-3 p.m. - "Hawks: Sun Loving Killers" live animal program with Lake Erie Nature and Science Center's Dave Wolf
3-3:30 p.m. - Birds of Prey Bingo
3-3:30 p.m. – “Owls on the Internet” (computer demonstrations)
3:30-4:30 p.m. - "Owls: Hunters of the Night" live animal program with Lake Erie nature and Science Center's Dave Wolf
7-8:30 p.m. -- "Owl Prowl" hike in search of local owls with Naturalist Jen Brumfield (Space is limited and registration is required).

Sunday, February 8  (12:30-5 p.m.)
1-1:30 p.m. - Birds of Prey Bingo
1:30-2 p.m. - Puppet Show
2-3 p.m. - "Peregrine Falcons: City Cliff Dwellers" live peregrine falcon with Ohio Department of Natural Resources Wildlife Officer Damon Greer
3-3:30 p.m. - Birds of Prey Bingo
3-3:30 p.m. - “Owls on the Internet” (computer demonstrations)
3:30-4:30 p.m. - "The Ancient Sport of Falconry" licensed falconer and Naturalist Jeff Riebe will showcase the fascinating sport of training falcons
In addition, there will be live animals visiting our classrooms, exhibits, giant puzzles, handouts, a bird wingspread exhibit (compare your arm reach to a bird's wingspread), and more!
